The biggest supplement craze today is resveratrol. It began with studying the French, and how they were able to eat so many rich foods without having the negative effects on the cardiac system. It turns out the answer was the resveratrol content in the wine they drank.  The French are known to consume more wine than many other regions and no one knew how beneficial this was until now. After pin pointing that resveratrol is the beneficial ingredient, it is now available in many different forms from many different sources. As time passes more and more benefits are expected to come from this product and eventually is planned to be the first supplement to be backed by the FDA.
